I'm thrilled to announce that I signed with Crooked Lane Books to publish my manuscript, The Three Deaths of Willa Stannard.
When I wrote my manuscript, it was because I love writing and I had a story to tell. I didn't anticipate it would be published one day. When I finished it, my earliest readers were so encouraging that I felt compelled to see where I could take the manuscript.
Early on, the journey to find a literary agent was daunting and, at times, discouraging. But I was buoyed by winning the Illinois Author Project Manuscript Contest, a competition for unpublished works of adult fiction. Fresh off my win, I once again started to research lit agents and found a perfect fit not long after!
Armed with a champion in my corner, I signed with Crooked Lake Books, a mystery and thriller publisher, this spring.
It's been a joy to start working with the talented team at Crooked Lane Books. I can't wait to share the latest news about my book, including the cover reveal and publication date. Right now, The Three Deaths of Willa Stannard is expected to publish in the spring or summer of 2023.
